Well the fall season is fully upon us, the leaves have all changed color in preparation for their departure, we gained back that precious hour (Yay!), and before you know it the holiday season will be here. But with all these changes the one that we New Yorkers dread the most is the drop in temperature. For it is with this temperature change  that comes  the inevitable “change-of- season sniffles” (It’s a mouthful). This “change-of-season sniffles” is not quite a cold, not quite the flu but it’s definitely noticeable, and I should know because I just got over mine. I did this with the help of two amazing products, both by the French based Food supplement company Olioseptil.

This company is known best for its synergistic combination of micro-emulsified essential oils. The blend of essential oils works synergistically to target certain problem areas, such as the GI tract, the lungs, and the urinary tract and of course the sinus cavities–the one that I tried!  It has an essential oil complex which includes Rosemary, Siberian Pine, Niaouli, Sour Orange, Lemon, and Clove oil. The combination of these ingredients work by sanitizing and maintaining the physiological balance of the sinus cavity, and let me tell you it does just that.

The second product that I tried from this line was their nasal spray SprayPurifiant. Like all their products it’s an essential oil blend, but the nasal spray differs in that it’s in a base of concentrated seawater. So, it’s like having the best of two worlds–the decongesting power of the Eucalyptus, Peppermint, and Thyme oil. With the soothing and comfort of seawater, I felt immediate relief from my congested nasal cavities. This nasal spray is gentle enough to be used several times a day with no problems.  With the help of these two products I was able to start feeling like myself in no time at all!
